How much does it cost to attend the Windy City Summit?

The cost will vary depending on your company’s business function. Please visit the Registration tab for details on rates. For all full price registration rates, you receive access to the exhibit hall as well as admission to educational sessions (including CTP review), a keynote presentation, two featured-speaker luncheons, breakfasts, refreshment breaks and an optional tour.

I can only attend for one day. Is there a discounted rate offered?

Yes. You may attend for one day at the discounted rate of $350.00 for Practitioners and Exhibitor/Sponsors and $450.00 for Financial Service Providers. You may register for one day through the online registration link. Please note that you will need to indicate which day you will attend, as badges will be color-coded for each day. If you need to make a change to the day you attend, you will need to notify Beth McDonald via email at

Can I allow my colleague to use my badge?

NO! The practice of “badge sharing” is prohibited at all conference events. If representatives of the conference suspect that badge sharing is taking place, you will be asked to present a picture ID to match your name badge. If you are caught badge sharing, you will lose your badge and your ability to participate in the conference.

I am attending the Windy City Summit for the first time. Are there any discounts offered?

Yes. We are offering $150.00 off the cost of a regular registration for any corporate practitioner who is a first-time attendee OR who did NOT attend the Summit in 2017. If you qualify, you may apply the code 2018WELCOMEBACK when prompted on the payment screen.

I registered for the Windy City Summit and now I need to cancel? What should I do? Would I receive a refund?

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Windy City Summit Headquarters (10520 Seven Mile Rd., PO Box 65, Caledonia, WI 53108 or via email to Beth McDonald at Cancellations received by April 13, 2018 will be subject to a $150 cancellation fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after April 13, 2018.

I’m past the deadline to receive a partial refund of my cancellation fee? What can I do?

Unfortunately, we cannot hold your registration fee to use as a credit for another year. Substitutions are welcome at any time but must be submitted in writing to the Windy City Summit Headquarters or via email to Beth McDonald at

Do you have information on the Federal Reserve Money Museum tour? How can I register for it?

During the tour you will enjoy a presentation about the functions and responsibilities of the Federal Reserve System, learn about the Money Museum’s historical currency collection and even take home a souvenir! No additional fee will be charged for the tours and transportation is provided. Space is limited. You may register for the tour through the Summit registration link.

CTP Review

How long is the CTP Exam Review? Is there a fee?

The CTP Exam Review sessions are offered throughout the day on Wednesday, May 23 and Thursday, May 24. The CTP Exam Review is included in with your Windy City Summit registration fee!

What does the CTP Exam Review cover?

Dr. D.J. Masson, professor of Finance at the Indiana University Kelly School of Business will cover chapters in the Essentials of Treasury Management, 5th Edition.


I need to fly to Chicago for the Windy City Summit. Which airport is best to fly into?

The Navy Pier Convention Center and Sheraton Grand Chicago are located in the heart of downtown Chicago and are easily accessible from two major airports – Chicago O’Hare (18 miles from the Sheraton Grand Chicago) and Chicago Midway (12 miles from the Sheraton Grand Chicago). Both airports have taxi service to downtown Chicago.

If the Windy City Summit is located at Navy Pier, I will need to book a hotel room. Where can I book one?

We have a block of rooms at the Sheraton Grand Chicago, located within walking distance of Navy Pier. The discounted rate for Windy City Summit attendees, exhibitors and speakers is $309.00 (single or double occupancy), subject to availability. What are the parking rates at Sheraton Grand Chicago?

The parking rates to self-park/valet your vehicle at the Sheraton Grand Chicago are as follows:
12-24 Hours (Self-Park) – $53
12-24 Hours (Valet) – $63

How do I get from Sheraton Grand Chicago to Navy Pier?

If you take a taxi or car service to Navy Pier, instruct the driver to use the access road on the north side of the building and proceed to Entrance 2. Once you enter the building there will be Windy City Summit specific signage to direct you.

A shuttle is available from the Sheraton Grand Chicago with continuous loop service to the Navy Pier Convention Center, Entrance 2. Please allow time for transferring between locations.

Where is the best place to park at Navy Pier? Is there a fee?

If you choose to park your vehicle at Navy Pier Convention Center, use the access road on the north side of the building and proceed to the East Parking Garage. There will be Windy City Summit specific signage to direct you. The daily parking fee is $28. Prices are subject to change.

Event Information

Will there be a mobile app for the 2018 Windy City Summit?

Yes! Look for the 2018 Windy City Summit mobile app to launch in March and make sure to download it to get the latest information on the speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and see who is attending. Registered attendees will get an email with instructions on how to download the mobile app and the password needed to access all of the Windy City Summit content. All speaker changes and additions will be posted to the app and, new this year, attendees will use the app to evaluate the sessions for real-time results!

Is there a dress code?

Dress code for the entire conference, including all activities at the Windy City Summit, is business casual. Business casual is defined as slacks and a collared shirt for men and dress slacks or casual wear for women. Chicago temperatures in May are typically in the high 60’s during the day and the low 50’s in the evening. Meeting room temperatures may vary, so we recommend dressing in layers.

Are cameras permitted?

Cameras are not permitted on the exhibit floor unless approval has been granted by the Windy City Summit Committee.

Do I need to stop at the Registration Desk when I first arrive at Navy Pier? What are the hours?

Yes, you will need to stop by the Registration Desk located in Festival Hall B to register onsite and to pick up your name badge. The hours are as follows:
